Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 to her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. She also served the SSC as a producer, costume/set design composer/music director and as a text coach while serving as Artistic Direction. Though generally leading from within the acting ensemble at the end of her time, she was able to make her debut as a director (and the lighting design) with SSC's King Lear.
